Gross interest distribution payments
News | 05 April 2017
Following the Budget of March 2016, we are making changes to the payment of interest distributions and the Invesco Perpetual Gross Share Classes.
After 5 April 2017, any interest distribution payments from ICVCs will be paid without an income tax deduction.
If you are invested in any of the Invesco Perpetual funds that pay an interest distribution, you will receive this on a gross basis in future. The Tax Voucher you receive will also make this clear.
As the standard share classes will now pay distributions gross, this means that there is no longer any need for dedicated Invesco Perpetual Gross Share Classes.
If you have gross share class holdings in any of the following Invesco Perpetual funds, we will be converting these into the equivalent standard share class over the weekend of 27 May 2017:
- Corporate Bond Fund
- Distribution Fund
- Global Bond Fund
- Global Distribution Fund
- Global Financial Capital Fund
- High Yield Fund
- Money Fund
- Monthly Income Plus Fund
- Tactical Bond Fund
We will be notifying any investors affected by this change in writing, and following the conversion we will also confirm the new holdings in the standard share class. While the number of shares held may change following the conversion, the value of any investments will not be affected.
Please note that although the conversions will take place over the weekend of 27 May 2017, contract notes issued will show the transaction date of 26 May 2017.
If you have standard share class holdings in any of the above funds within an ISA we won’t be making any conversions, however interest distributions will be paid differently going forward. Find out more.
If you have any questions, please contact us on freephone 0800 085 8677. We’re available Monday to Friday, between 8.30am and 6pm.
The value of investments and any income will fluctuate (this may partly be the result of exchange rate fluctuations) and investors may not get back the full amount invested.
